Create a Study Group for Civic Involvement

Letter-I-2

wrote "Create a Study Gang for Civic Involvement" in 2022 and I shelved it. My sister saw this in action among Asian students at LaGuardia Community College. Each student in the group was responsible for a class in the program, studying the material and generating the information to circulate among the group. We can do this to work on local, state, and federal issues that, we, the people, wish to praise, revise, or change. It is time to stop preaching to ourselves or our small groups wiling to hear what we have to say. Nothing changes if we keep the ideas to ourselves.

Ralph Nader has dedicated his life to civic duty, and has always focused on better conditions for Americans and the world. Mr. Nader and his books, newsletters, and website provide more than enough information on what people can pursue. His books document ways all of us can use to improve our lives. There is a lot in government, on all levels, to fix. One only needs to choose one to start.

President Biden banned TikTok in the United States in his last days in office. The owners challenged it, and SCOTUS ruled that it did not violate the First Amendment. Several months earlier, TikTok was reported to be China's means to influence Americans. A later opinion cited TikTok users supported Palestinians.

Internet and social media are businesses. They exist now, but that does not mean they will continue to exist. The creators and boards of these publicly held companies can shut down should the government desire it. What will people do then? There is something they can do now.

My sister saw this in action among Asian students at LaGuardia Community College. Each student in the group was responsible for a class in the program, studying the material and generating content to circulate among the group.

Attract a group of like-minded people. Create a plan with family members and friends. Collectively, examine a problem. Discuss the issues and develop a process to address them. Agree on a plan for change. Everyone can elect to be responsible for that part of the issue. Each person agrees to provide more information to the group on that specific topic or topics. It is time for study and action.

The group may feel that more people are needed. Break down the needs, assign parts to the group, and create the best, the greatest, most information-generating meeting that attendees will be satisfied for making the time to experience.

Issues to Address

There are many, many issues to address. The United States government continues to deteriorate into a self-serving muddle of greed that discards the true purpose of elected representatives. I listen to Dr. Gary Null's program on PRN. Live. He shared ideas about what citizens must address because this government is not serving the people. The members are serving themselves. Our rights are eroding. That is an issue itself. I have often heard we will be unable to get them back. Is this so? It is worth an attempt to regain what was removed under false flag activity. Others include:

1. Repeal the Glass-Steagall Act

2. Repeal Tax Deductions from Social Security nationwide. Ronald Reagan did this to close the gap created by his tax cut for the wealthy.

The second tax cut that created a shortfall was the one tRump signed. I am still determining whether there is a gap and how the Fed plans to close it.

3. Repeal the Child Vaccine Injury Act. Withdraw indemnification from vaccines from the vaccine industry and hold those corporations responsible for every vaccine injury retroactively.

4. Remove the profit motive from medical care. Ban lobbyists attached to the industry from meeting and dealing with elected officials.

COVID-19 was the latest from 2020 to 2022. Compared to the Spanish Flu of 1918, no one inoculated millions of people with an unproven substance. At this revision, mainstream media is running information about people becoming sick and how to prepare for the next "pandemic," designed to infect more people.

The New York Daily News contained an article about an African monkey pox outbreak, opening the door for the World Health Organization with an irrevocable treaty to attempt to gain a foothold in the position of setting itself as the harbinger of health issues worldwide through which pharmaceutical corporations will distribute their poorly functioning products.

1. Remove qualified immunity from all law enforcement departments across the nation. Each police officer relinquishes their certification credentials when fired, arrested, found guilty of a crime, and incarcerated, never to work for law enforcement again in any capacity. Create and maintain the national database for current police officers.

2. Implement criminal codes for police officers who violate people's rights. Rescind all professional certifications and rehire at any law enforcement office or business in the country when a police officer is tried and found guilty of violating criminal codes.

3. Implement criminal codes for hired, elected, and appointed government employees who violate the law and people's rights. Rescind all professional certifications and rehire at any government office or business in the country when tried and found guilty of violating criminal codes.

4. Produce a measurable definition of 'intent" in a crime investigation. Establish the magnitude of inflicted harm to determine an officer's motive.

5. Remove all private money from politics.

6. Legislate the right to challenge and, if necessary, overturn decisions from the Supreme Court of the United States.

7. Amend lifetime status of Supreme Court judges to  one term of 10 years.

8. Overturn Citizens United.

9. Repeal The U.S. Patriot Act and all laws associated with it.

10. Eliminate public subsidies and influences for political campaigns.  All PACs are banned from supporting politicians and local, state, and federal involvement.

11. Ban the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) from American congressional activity.

12. When I began this article, Hamas had not attacked Israel. Stop supporting Israel and its genocide actions. Keep in mind that Israel created Hamas. Israel prohibits blood transfers to and acceptance of blood from people of color. The apartheid practices were in play decades ago, yet the United States still gives this development $5 trillion a year. Remember the Israeli aerial attack in 1967 on the USS Liberty and the tens of men killed and injured. The attempt was to blame Egypt.

13. Release all government information on UFOs, UAPs, and the presence of alien life on this planet and its vicinity.

More Issues to Create a Study Group for Civic Involvement

Other issues that I think should be worked on:

1. Change laws in states to compensate wrongfully imprisoned people for time incarcerated.

2. Repeal laws that allow minors to be tried as adults.

3. Repeal SCOTUS’ ruling that corporations are people.

4. Repeal the Dodge v Ford that ruled the purpose of corporations is to pay shareholders. This law made the corporations compensate shareholders first with any profits, who were identified as co-owners rather than rewarding workers.

5. Impeach SCOTUS members Sam Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas, and any others whose testimonies differed radically from their actions while in office. Their testimonies were not honest, therefore their counteractions disqualify them from sitting.

6. Remove the ability to obtain work in corporations on corporate boards after serving any term in elected offices. I remember a former congressional member named Billy Tosin who moved from Congress to a corporation. People leaving the Food and Drug Administration get employed at Moderna. Former politicians and government workers can work for such businesses after a five-year separation from the government.

7. Eliminate proposals for bills that are passed through Congress to be passed as laws without scrutiny from Congressional members. All laws that exist in such manner shall be repealed, reviewed and rewritten should they warrant it.

8. Restore the rights of workers to organize unions.

9. Abolish the 100 Orders imposed in Iraq, eliminate accession of Iraq into the WTO, and restore Iraq's heirloom seed bank to Abhu Grabe and its people.

10. Sever recognition of West Papua's government and acceptance of their genocide practices.

11. Sever recognition of Israel's government, acceptance of their genocide practices, cease all arms supplies, and welfare. Repeal all laws regarding antisemitism and sever all association with AIPAC organization and its lobbyists

12. Apprehend and criminalize all human traffickers to any planet regardless of the violator's country of origin, including the elimination of diplomatic immunity.

13. Stop illegal immigration influx at all entry points into the country. Terminate the transporting and service provider businesses assisting immigrants within all states of the union.

14. Search, investigate, and prosecute child and adult sex traffickers.

Add to the Issues That Need Attention

More issues need attention. If the list is overwhelming, follow your passion or passions. But at least choose one. Representatives make changes during the hours most of us across the continental United States sleep. The government claims that it is for our benefit. We know that this is not true. Politicians claim they have our best interest in mind because that is how they present acts for our acceptance and support. Then things take a turn and worsen our lives.

We keep falling for it. We are intelligent. We know what's going on. Stop accepting this. Create your groups and connect with others across the country. It may come to a place where this may not be possible anymore.
